The scenery could often be described as breathtaking as we rode our way through the Alaska Range.

 

We slowly trailed these caribou for 2-3 miles waiting for them to leave the highway so that we could pass.  It became obvious they had NO intentions of stepping off into the deep snow , so we finally had to make the pass beside them on the shoulder.
